‘Indiana Jones’ First Shoot Day Video

June 26, 2007

indianajones1.gifLast Monday was the first day of shooting on the set of Indiana Jones 4 and the folks at IndianaJones.com were given some of that footage to put up for our viewing. The video is a montage of that first day’s shoots and includes Steven Spielberg toasting the cast and crew, Spielberg directing, and George Lucas hanging around. Don’t worry about spoilers cause there aren’t any to be had, in fact you don’t even get to see any of the main cast.

‘Ratatouille’ TV Spot

June 17, 2007

ratatouille.gifPixar’s next big thing is Ratatouille, about a rat with aspirations to be a chef in Paris.  I can’t wait and luckily it’s only about 2 weeks away.  Until then, take a look at the new TV spot for the movie.  It’s more or less a cut down version of the trailer, but it’s still worth a look.  Check it out.

Watch ‘Live Free…’ Clips

June 13, 2007

willis.gifAs of today, we’re only 2 weeks away from the release of Live Free or Die Hard.  I’m a big fan of most of the movies in the Die Hard franchise, but I have been kind of skeptical about this one.  Bruce Willis and others involved with the movie seem to think its on par with the original though, so I’ll just have to take their word on that.  Yahoo! Movies has posted some exclusive clips from the movie and after watching them I’m still not sure how I feel.  The clips do show off some nice stunt work and have some great one-liners, but I’ll reserve opinions until I check the movie out on June 27th.

Clips For ‘Joshua’

June 12, 2007

I can’t believe I haven’t posted anything about the upcoming horror/thriller Joshua. It looks right along the lines of The Good Son and The Omen. It’s got Sam Rockwell, who I think is a fantastic actor, as well as Vera Farmiga and Jacob Kogan. IESB.net has been supplied with 10 clips for our viewing pleasure. The film seems to have a fair share of good and bad reviews, but it looks pretty good to me. Check out the clips and tell me what you think.

Joshua hits theaters July 6.

Clips From Upcoming ‘1408’

June 11, 2007

1408, the latest in a long line of Stephen King adaptations, opens June 22.  This film follows Mike Enslin (John Cusack)  as he attempts to debunk places of supposed paranormal activity.  And so he winds up at the Dolphin Hotel in room 1408 where he might actually find some real evidence.

IESB.net is hosting eight clips from the film if you’re interest in checking them out. (Click Here)  The movie looks pretty good to me, I can’t wait to review and let you all know how it is.

New ‘Stardust’ Clips

June 10, 2007

Clair Danes-StardustThe movie version of Neil Gaiman’s Startdust is due out in just a few months.  To help tide you over, you should head on over to the official website for the film and check out three new clips they’ve got posted. (click here to check out the site.)

This is the plot according to IMDB: In a countryside town bordering on a magical land, a young man makes a promise to his beloved that he’ll retrieve a fallen star by venturing into the magical realm.

I’ve not read anything of Gaiman’s so I can’t say how well it depicts his work, but the clips look good and have me wanting to see the movie.  It’s directed by Matthew Vaughn, who last directed Layer Cake, which is great movie .
