‘Grimm’ Sister’s Get Big Screen Treatment

sistersgrimm.gifNew Regency Productions and Josephson Entertainment acquired The Sisters Grimm, a children’s book series by author Michael Buckley.  The film will be based on the first three books of the possible nine volume series.

The story follows orphaned sisters Sabrina and Daphne Grimm, descendants of the Brothers Grimm as they journey to find their parents.

Of the deal Buckley said, “We had a lot of people who were interested, but it didn’t seem like there was anybody who could actually get it made.  And I didn’t want to hand the books over and let them sit. Also, I wanted to find people who could make a movie that a parent could enjoy as well as a kid.”
